The one where Dallas was ahead of its time in treating a gay character well.  

Lucy is dating Kit Mainwaring. They a super attractive couple who go to a lot of discos and... play a lot of backgammon! Truth be told, Kit is giving off a lot of "Friends Zone" vibes that 18 year old Lucy is just not picking up on. She does notice when he flat out refuses to even feel her up, but she totally ignores that sign. Girl has never actually had a good relationship, so how is she to know?! The Ewings approve of her relationship because Kit Mainwaring is from an Oil Family™, and they actually start acting like she's part of the family. After being pressured into it, Kit proposes and Lucy accepts. Trouble is... our boy Kit is gay. He soon realizes that he can't go through with the marriage. He comes out to both Bobby and Lucy who handle if very well for 1979! And turns out JR knew the the whole time and was just like ¯_(ツ)_/¯ . 

This episode gets many more bourbons than usual from us. We also welcome Melanie from Ultimate Dallas to the Barbecue!
