JR is recovering from surgery and cranky af! Sue Ellen is trying to help and only smothering him. Lots of people come to visit JR in the hospital – half of them to laugh at him for being shot. Sue Ellen is wracked with guilt because she keeps dreaming that she’s the one who shot him. Meanwhile, Lucy tries to force Mitch to date her while he repeatedly tells her he doesn’t have the time or money. When he finally relents, she gets mad because he doesn’t have the time or money…. Okay, Lucy. Jock and Miss Ellie make a discovery in JR and Sue Ellen’s closet….

Bobby tries to man the phones at Ewing Oil, Cliff is taken "downtown", Gary flies home and Pam... swims in the pool because she doesn't care at all. Meanwhile, Lucy is actually given a group of girlfriends, but it only seems so they can show some T&A. Oh, Katzman...
